Question by : Should I get iPhone 3GS or 4?? (cant wait for 5)?
I am going into real estate (just passed the test). I need a phone, but it has to be an iPhone. Which one of these are better?? I will be starting real estate soon, so cant wait for iphone 5. I will be using the QR code (barcode) in real estate, so that’s why I need an iphone/smart phone.

Go for the 3GS if you want a capable smartphone. It performs exquisitely well , even for an older phone. People claim the 3GS is “outdated”, but technically, its been so advanced at the time of its launch, that it still sells well today. The iPhone 4 is a great device as well, but it is priced higher, and , my main issue with it is that it has antennae issues. Although minor, it just makes me feel weird that a premium device should have ANY problems with it.
The iPhone 3GS is a perfectly capable smartphone, it can run any app in the app store smoothly, and it still quite usable.
Save for the retina display, better camera, and slightly upgraded hardware specs (non of which makes a noticeable performance difference), the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 are nearly identical in terms of functional capability.
At the end, I recommend the 3GS, but its your call
